熊蜂是群机智的家伙:当蜂巢附近的植物还没有开花、花粉稀少时,工蜂会想办法迫使它们开花。近日,发表在《科学》杂志上的一项研究显示,这些昆虫会刺穿植物的叶子,导致植物的开花时间比正常情况下平均提前30天。熊蜂催花技术的演化过程,以及这些植物通过开花来响应熊蜂叮咬的原因目前仍不清楚。但研究人员表示,在如此为人熟知的生物身上发现一种新行为是非常了不起的。

2019年9月30日—10月5日,国际林联第二十五届世界大会在巴西库里蒂巴市举行。来自全球92个国家和地区的2500多名科研人员参加会议。这是国际林联自成立以来第一次在拉丁美洲举办世界大会。我国约有120名林业科技工作者参加会议,参会人数仅次于巴西和美国。其中,中国林科院有65位专家参会,为中国林科院参加历届国际林联世界大会人数之最。
