2024年1月26日，国家林业和草原局森林生态站专业组2023年度工作会议在北京召开。中国科学院院士蒋有绪、于贵瑞，国家林业和草原局科技司司长郝育军、资源司副司长韩爱惠，中国林业科学研究院森林生态环境与自然保护研究所副所长王小艺，森林生态站专业组组长王兵研究员出席会议。会议由国家林业和草原局科技司李世东一级巡视员主持。
气候变化加剧了火险严重程度，并导致全球范围内的野火更加严重。可燃物处理可以缓解日益增加的野火风险和维持生态系统功能。然而，在不同的火险严重程度（SSR）条件下，可燃物处理的优化方式和有效性仍不清楚。为此，我们提出一个评估各种SSR条件下野火风险的框架，并评估了不同可燃物处理方式在减缓森林火灾中的作用。
