2015年10月31日，华东理工大学为庆祝新中国第一个抗生素制造工学专业创建60周年，举行了“生物工程•创造美好未来”主题论坛，中国科学院院士李永舫、中国医药工业研究总院首席科学家陈代杰等500余名各界嘉宾、校友及师生代表齐聚一堂，回顾专业发展风雨历程，共议生物制造产业的未来。
