中国科学院海洋研究所探明中尺度涡引起海温变率关键过程

近日，中国科学院海洋研究所研究员王凡团队在中尺度涡旋引起海表面温度异常的研究中取得进展，通过资料分析和数值模拟厘定涡旋引起海温异常的关键过程为侧向平流，并指明涡旋移动和背景流是决定海温异常结构的关键因素，完善了对中尺度海温变率的认识，且具有很高普适性，对海洋涡旋动力学、中尺度海-气相互作用和海洋数值模拟与预测研究有一定参考意义。
