膨润土遇水后发生较大膨胀性，具有良好的胶体性质，可使悬液的粘度增高，在用于钻井泥浆时，可以增加钻具的润滑性，清洗钻井过程中产生的岩屑，被广泛使用于地质构造复杂地层钻井施工，防止孔内事故发生。
以聚乙烯醇( PVA) 和经过不同时间冷冻处理的凹凸棒黏土( APT) 为原料，采用溶液-流延成膜法，制备了PVA/APT 纳米复合膜，通过红外光谱、XRD 和SEM 对纳米复合膜的结构和形貌进行了表征，并对复合膜的力学性能及耐水性能进行了测试。结果表明，与未冷冻处理APT 相比，经冷冻处理后APT 的棒晶可以更好的分散在PVA基体中，纳米复合膜的力学性能和耐水性有明显提高。其中，以冷冻处理16 ...
