钱惪，传染病学家和医学教育家。５０年来从事传染病学的教学、医疗和科研工作。对血吸虫病、伤寒、阿米巴病等的诊断和治疗作了创建性的研究，规定了酒石酸锑钾的１５～２０天疗法，推广非锑剂杀血吸虫药血防８４６；降低了治疗伤寒的氯霉素剂量；提出阿米巴肝脓肿的治疗方法，总结了肠道阿米巴病的异常征象。曾筹建重庆医学院。
