总投资1250万美元的德国威能公司壁挂炉燃气热水器项目，近日在江苏无锡新区举行了签约仪式。有着百年制造燃气采暖锅炉经验的德国威能公司，是世界销售量最大的壁挂炉制造商之一，年销量达20亿欧元，目前在中国已安装80万台威能燃气热水器。此次在无锡新区投资的项目是该公司在欧洲以外的第一家工厂，主要生产家庭用燃气热水取暖设备，计划2005年12月份开工，2006年7月份正式投产。
