Photocurrent spectroscopy uncovers hidden energy losses in water splitting, helping to make hydrogen production more efficient.
全球干旱区（干旱指数AI<0.65）覆盖约45%的陆地面积，支撑超过30亿人口生存，是地球系统的重要组成部分。然而，这些地区蒸散量远高于降水量，仅拥有全球7.7%的可再生地表水资源，水资源短缺严重威胁人类福祉和脆弱的生态系统健康。此外，大气蒸发能力和人类用水量的增加进一步加剧了区域性水资源危机。尽管干旱区对水资源短缺极为敏感，但对其长期地表水储量变化及其驱动机制的认识仍然不足。
