论文简介：利用无纤维突变体，通过图位克隆了纤维起始基因Li3，该基因是位于染色体D12（GhMML3_D12）上的R2R3-MYB转录因子。借助序列分析和遗传分析，发现li3是一个功能缺失的等位基因，和N3是一对具有加性效应的同源突变体，对纤维(绒或棉)的起始具有加性作用。这些发现为影响棉花纤维起始的遗传因素提供了新的信息。
